Orientation and Welcome Ceremony - February 2017

When: Tuesday, 7 February 2017 - 10:00AM in the morning

Where: Faculty Council Hall, Ground Floor of Building "A" - (Budapest, VIII. Múzeum krt. 4/A - Location on Google Maps location)

This orientation is for all newly-arriving and Stipendium Hungaricum students, except for Erasmus and CEEPUS exchange students. These students should contact the (Erasmus) Coordinator after arrival.

The aim of the Orientation Program is to give you information about important practical matters related to studying and living in Budapest. Additionally, you will gain insight into the educational and study environment of the Faculty of Humanities.

This year’s orientation program will be informative and a lot of fun. We will provide you with all the necessary information about practical post-arrival issues, essential to-dos with the authorities, your integration in Hungary, the new study environment, as well as culture and arts in our thriving capital.

During the event, you will also have the opportunity to meet with the leadership of the university, as well as your fellow students.

Who should participate?

It is obligatory for all newly-arrived students to participate. Your partner or spouse is also welcome to attend. Attendance will be checked during the Orientation Event, so please do not forget to turn up on time. You will learn a lot about the Faculty, its rules, procedures, and deadlines.

Price and place

The event is free of charge. It will be held in the exquisitely ornamented Council Hall in Building A. Look for the “Orientation Program” signs when you enter the building.
