Concert organized by the ELTE Institute of Slavonic and Baltic Philology and Balkan Heritage Cultural Center.

The Macedonian National Jazz Orchestra proudly presents the project “Macedonian Dreams” – an energetic fusion of traditional Macedonian music and contemporary jazz. The program will be conducted by Vladimir Nikolov, leading the orchestra through this journey of deep cultural roots, reimagined through the language of jazz. 

This performance in Budapest is part of the orchestra’s Central European tour, which also includes a concert in Vienna and Prague. 

The event is free, but registration is required.

The Macedonian National Jazz Orchestra unites top jazz musicians from Macedonia and internationally renowned guest artists. Established in 2024, it has quickly become a central musical force in the country’s cultural life and a symbol of high-quality music. We are proud to mention some of our successful concerts with international top-of-the-line artists, such as Kurt Elling, Donny McCaslin, Yellowjackets, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Seun Kuti, and Maria Mendes. 

Vladimir Nikolov is a renowned composer and arranger, collaborating with internationally acclaimed artists including Chaka Khan, Jacob Collier, Donny McCaslin, John Clayton, Randy Brecker, Ibrahim Maalouf and many more. 

He has worked with prestigious ensembles such as the Metropole Orchestra, Konzerthaus Orchestra Berlin, the BBC Concert Orchestra, and many other highly regarded musical entities.
