Dr. Šarūnas Rinkevičius will visit ELTE Faculty of Humanities at the invitation of the Lithuanian minor program of the Institute of Slavic and Baltic Philology.

The researcher from the Jonas Žemaitis Lithuanian Military Academy will give a lecture in English entitled On the Historical Relations between Lithuania and Hungary: After Archival Research.

Main topics of the lecture:

  • The role of Stephen Báthory in Lithuanian history

  • Lithuanian-Hungarian relations between the two World Wars
