- Master's diploma with qualification (minimum with 'good' qualification)
- an official English translation of the MA certificate. Details: The translation is needed only if the language of the original is not English, German or French.
- research plan (3-5 pages)
- professional CV signed by the applicant
- minimum B2 level complex (written and oral) language exam. The following English language exams are accepted:

Deadline for Applications
The deadline for application means the deadline of submittion of the full and complete application package on the online system, and the transfer of the application fee.
The Faculty of Humanities expects the application to be submitted by the following deadline:
8th May, 2020, 23:59 (CET)
The applicants will be interviewed by an admission committee (entrance examination). In this interview, they will be asked about previous university achievements, the individual research plan and the scientific competence in the field of interest.
Approximate date of the interviews: 18 May 2020 – 19 June 2020
The Faculty's doctoral council decides of acceptance or rejection on the grounds of the admission committees reports made following the interview.
The resolution regarding admission or rejection is sent out by the Doctoral and Academic Affairs Office.
Approximate date of the decision: 31 July 2020
The admission resolution does not create a student status in itself, only the personal enrollment at the University establishes the student status.
For EU/EEA-citizens: 130.000 HUF (ca. 420 €)
Non-EU/EEA-citizens: 2.200 €, to be paid in HUF at the exchange rate valid on the day of payment.
The programme is based on bilateral educational cooperation agreements signed between the Ministries responsible for education in the sending countries/territories and Hungary or between institutions. Currently 60 Sending Partners are engaged in the programme throughout 5 different continents and the geographical scope of the programme is spreading each year.
The program provide full scholarship during the whole educational program.
