Az előadás a hidegháború emlékezetét helyezi a középpontba. Meglátása szerint az idősebb generáció emlékezetében még élénken él a hidegháború tapasztalata, azonban a fiatalabbakat már emlékeztetni kell a két nagyhatalom, Amerika és a Szovjetunió között évekig fennálló ideológiai, kulturális, társadalmi, gazdasági, politikai versengésére. Ancient Studies and Memories of the Cold War

We all have our memories of the Cold War, but perhaps the younger generation needs to be reminded of what we have lived through. In the West we experienced nothing like those in the so-called Eastern Bloc, but through the fog of government propaganda we tried to maintain the spirit of the Republic of Letters. These are my personal memories from 1956 to the present day.
