Staff Week 2023 at the Europa-Universität Flensburg
This three-day event is specifically designed for university language center staff or those who work in an area related to language teaching, services, or support—for instance, language instruction, coaching, mentoring, translation, editing, advising, or policy development. Therefore, we would be grateful if you could please share this invitation with your language center staff or colleagues within your university who would be interested in participating.
The leading topic of the Staff Week will be: How can a language center best provide its services in the context of an increasing multilingual study program offer?
Naturally, we are curious about your contributions as well, and invite you to either join as co-presenters in some of the workshops and presentations we have already planned, or suggest an individual subtopic your own topic that you would like to present or create a workshop for. In the attachment you can find brief descriptions of the workshops, moderated discussions and presentations that we have planned. Please get back to us as soon as possible, about what you would like to contribute.
Within close distance to the center of Flensburg, with its old seaport, waterfront promenade, and stunning historic architecture, the green campus of Europa-Universität Flensburg is situated at the border of Germany and Denmark. It offers an ideal setting for relaxed discussion of language learning and communication in a mixed-language environment.
