Moments from the first Intercultural Workshop at the Faculty of Humanities
On 22nd November, the first Intercultural Workshop for students took place at ELTE, Faculty of Humanities. The workshop was organised by the Department of International Affairs for international and Hungarian students respectively.

The main aim of the workshop was to bring together students from various cultures all around the world, and share experiences, feelings, facts, and time with each other to have a better knowledge of diversity at the Faculty. The workshop was also intended to give pieces of advice on how to live in Hungary, how to adapt to the culture, and how to cope with culture shock and homesickness.

Both the trainers, Mr Uwe Pohl and Ms Ildikó Lázár, professors of the School of English and American Studies, and the organisers were excited about launching this initiative. Looking back, we can say it was a fabulous event with cheerful participants and fantastic trainers. Hopefully, the next series of workshops, planned for the next academic year, will be just as successful as the first one.
