The ELTE Language Pedagogy and English Applied Linguistics PhD Programme is organising an international conference titled Creating New Knowledge Over Three Decades of Doctoral Education in Language Pedagogy and Applied Linguistics.
The conference aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest doctoral research findings in applied and intercultural linguistics, language pedagogy, multilingualism, and translation studies, while also showcasing the collaborative work of doctoral students, supervisors, and academic staff. It offers participants an opportunity to explore emerging theoretical perspectives, interdisciplinary approaches, and innovative research methods, while also providing insights into academic and research careers beyond the PhD.
The event will bring together current and former doctoral students and alumni, creating a professional forum where participants can receive feedback on their work from colleagues across different programmes. In addition, the conference seeks to foster new collaborations and support the development of future research groups and scholarly networks.
