AUGUST
1.	Saturday	17⁰⁰	First day of pre-course registration for autumn semester 2026/27 in Neptun. Course registration periods are explained in this document. Course registration video guide.
6.	Thursday	08⁰⁰	First day of submitting a request for PIEC (personalized instruction for exceptional cases) for 2026/27/1 via Neptun. (To make a request, you must register for your courses at least 24 hours in advance.)
28.	Friday	16⁰⁰ 20⁰⁰	Last day of pre-course registration for autumn semester 2026/27 in Neptun. First day of ranking course registration for autumn semester 2026/27 in Neptun. Course registration periods are explained in this document. Course registration video guide.
30.	Sunday	08⁰⁰	First day to submit tuition fee-related instalment payment; *equity or credit based tutiton fee requests** for 2026/27/1 via Neptun (*only for student who have exceeded the official term). The deadline is peremptory. More information in the Finances FAQ (section 11; 12; 13).
31.	Monday		First day of Orientation Week (organized by the Faculty of Humanities) for Freshmen.
SEPTEMBER
1.	Tuesday		First day of the application period at ELTE Faculty of Humanities for the English Foundation Course students for the the spring semester of the 2026/2027 academic year at https://apply.elte.hu/.
3.	Thursday	17⁰⁰	Last day of ranking course registration for autumn semester 2026/27 in Neptun. Course registration periods are explained in this document. Course registration video guide.
4.	Friday	08⁰⁰	First day of ‘first-come, first-served’ course registration period for autumn semester 2026/27 in Neptun. Course registration periods are explained in this document. Last day of Orientation Week (organized by the Faculty of Humanities) for Freshmen.

8.	Tuesday	10⁰⁰	First day of the registration period for the free elective General Hungarian Language Course. This is different from SH/DSP scholarship holder students' mandatory Hungarian course. Modification of the amount of tuition fees issued in Neptun is possible only after an official decision has been made and in accordance with that decision. TBA			Last day to submit requests for the Educational Committee. In the case of those requests made for the 2026/27/1 semester, that could only be submitted after 07.07.2026. For more detailed information, please see 15 June in the Academic Calendar.
