The Department of Translation and Interpreting at ELTE organises its 26th Translation Studies conference, TransELTE 2024.
The theme of this year's conference is market orientation and competitiveness in language mediation. The event is traditionally organised jointly with the National Translation and Translation Attestation Office and the European Union's Directorate-General for Translation (DGT).
In addition to speakers from Hungary and abroad, the three-day conference will also feature a Translating Europe Workshop, presentations by students from the Translation Studies PhD programme on their ongoing research, as well as a university alumni meeting where current students and those interested in the courses will be able to meet former successful students of the department.
During the conference, EN-HU(-NL) simultaneous interpretation will be provided for our guests.
