My research is centered around the topic of animation studies. Animation is closely related to film, it has however distinctive features (e.g.: plasmaticness, morphing) which turn it into a separate category. Focusing on these distinctive characteristics I do research on animated reresentations of social and environmental issues. My main field of intrest is the ecocritical reading of animation, which describes how this ever changing media format depicts the human-nature relationship.

Focusing on the changing cultural logics of ecological issues I do research on the animated depicitons of the ever-changing human-nature relations.

I'm critically examining how current ecological problems (climate change, plastic pollution, soil degradation) appear in public discourse. I did research on the narrative, framing and visual aspects of the hungarian news media's representation of the COP 25 climate summit, aswell as the most popular animated representations of the topic of climate change on You Tube etc.
