My main area of research is 20th- and 21st-century Spanish-American prose, particularly postmodern and contemporary narrative literature. I primarily examine the issue of body representation, but I also publish on the possibilities of applying post-humanism to literary criticism and on self-referential discourses, such as autofiction and metafiction.
